Eco One are amongst Britain's brightest young businesses by winning the HSBC Start-Up Stars 2010 Green Regional award.
As a finalist of the 2010 annual HSBC Start-Up Stars Awards Eco One have already convinced the regional judging panels that we have the vital X-factor for future success and growth.
HSBC were looking for businesses with a specific focus on environmental issues, who can demonstrate:
- a proven innovative approach to climate control
- energy consumption and conservation - a new product with superb green credentials
- an innovative way to reduce the impact of a business on the environment or a business that is dedicated to conserving dwindling energy resources.
Eco One are now in the running to represent the North East area at the national London finals in October this year.

Eco One Ltd achieved MCS accreditation with third party certification provider NICIEC for Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems. Accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), NICEIC provide an independent, third party assessment of installers of microgeneration to ensure that the requirements of the appropriate MCS standards are met and maintained.
An important benefit is eligibility for the Governments Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), due in April 2011 as well as grant funding under the Government’s Low Carbon Buildings Programme.

Eco One Ltd achieved MCS accreditation with third party certification provider NAPIT for Solar Photovoltaics (PV) and Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP).
We are now well positioned to help our clients take advantage of the opportunities presented by low carbon technologies and microgeneration technologies, as MCS accreditation is the only route to directly access government funding for CERT, CESP, Low Carbon Building Programme grants, Feed In Tariffs (FIT) and Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
By using both a MCS certified product and installer, consumers can rely on both quality of the product and installation company.
The Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP) offers financial incentives to both homeowners and not for profit organisations. By using both a MCS certified product and installer, consumers can rely on both quality of the product and installation company.
Another important benefit is eligibility for the Governments Feed in tariff or ‘Clean Energy Cashback’ scheme.

We are now officially registered with The Carbon Trust. We can help businesses apply for Energy Efficiency Loans from the Carbon Trust. The loans are unsecured and interest free for small or medium-sized business. Loans are available from £5,000 to £200,000 and are repayable over a period of up to 4 years.
